Kingfield Pops concert, featuring the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29 at Kennedy Field on Route 142 in Kingfield. Stop by from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and enjoy the art festival on the lawns of Camden National Bank and the Schoolhouse Gallery in downtown Kingfield.

Stone Mountain Arts Center, 695 Duguay Road, Brownfield, has some interesting performances lined up for the summer of 2013.


A free music series called Waltzing for Dreamers, which is made by possible by Carol Noonan’s latest recording “Waltzing for Dreamers” in partnership with the sponsorship of Maine Beverage Co. will host the following shows:

  • May 30, The Toughcats
  • June 16, Gypsophilia
  • July 7, The Grand Slambovians


Stone Mountain also hosts a Barn Burner Series that includes:


  • June 21, Girls Gun and Glory at 8 p.m. Cost is $16 with $1 handling fee.
  • Aug 9, Roy Sludge Trio featuring guitarist Duke Levine at 8 p.m. Cost is $20 with no handling fee.


And, those Lyle Lovett fans can stop by to listen to the tunes of Lovett and his acoustic group for a one-time only intimate show at 8 p.m. July 18. Cost is $200, plus $6 handling fee.
